Despite the dozens (and sometimes hundreds) of moves available per pugilist, intricate juggle combos, complex counters, and esoteric gameplay quirks that have evolved through five prequels, Tekken 6 is an altogether welcoming fighting game. For veterans, the game offers the most comprehensive roster in the history of the series, a new way to extend damaging combos, and enough change to--whilst not exactly feeling brand new--make it feel exciting to play Tekken again. For newcomers, the game's comprehensive training modes and expansive single-player beat-'em-up campaign serve as an enticing gateway into the world of the King of Iron Fist Tournament. For everyone else, Tekken 6 features the same outstanding qualities that have made the series a fighting favorite on consoles: deep yet accessible mechanics, as well as excellent extra features not seen in arcades. Whether you're a complete stranger to the series, an occasional masher, or someone who can pull off 10-hit combos without dislocating a finger, the superb Tekken 6 has plenty to offer you.

That abundance begins with Tekken 6's roster, which is a beefy lineup that features 41 fighters, including old stalwarts, such as Kazuya, Lei, Paul, Nina, Jin, and others. It also includes more recent additions from Dark Resurrection, such as Lili and the emo-Nazi look-a-like Dragunov. Even series veterans may find Tekken 6's jam-packed character selection screen a little overwhelming because it's initially tough to identify characters from their small portraits alone. But once you've found your favorites, experienced Tekken players will see that the tweaks and changes made to the move sets of returning characters are, for the most part, minor. Most characters get a new attack or two, some stances have been modified, and it seems the damage dealt by some of the more powerful combos in the past have been slightly toned down. Despite this it is simply best tekken installation yet. So quit whining and enjoy.

Been into Tekken and its ilk since childhood, and this installment is jus as good as the 5th. Which isnt a bad thing nor a good thing, it should've been better its not a complete blow out unless ur a die hard fan, new players will find to much wrong with it to stay completely into the game. Scenario mode is a decents addition and u kept plenty of the core game elements in the RPG mode, but it should not have been so important that a story mode is left out, online is laggy like the fat kid in gym, no extra modes like in Tekken 3 or DR, and everything is so over priced for the little cash we earn. On the up tip the gameplay and fighting are superd and second to none, customizing is awesome and we can use the weapons, 40 characters, breakable stages jus a few not alot dont wanna stray away from the original, every return character got a facelift (improvements), and the balancing is fair. Overall this game is great, not perfect, but once the online is fixed it will be on and poppin.

I'm Hooked. Only thing I wish you put in was when you're in practice mode, you choose a move from the command list to hold and view,
**and when you want to move to the next one, all you had to do was PRESS R3 to cycle through moves** that made practicing so much easier. Now i'm constantly going back and forth into the command list for every little move. If you could fix this in a Patch, that would be AMAZING

Other than that, Great Game, Great Work!

For Tekken 6 (only) : I don't care who is Lars and Alisa! Tekken is a shoot em up game not an action RPG! You could have done better!

The Fighting itself is still perfect, as well as the balancing of all the 40 characters. (which is quiete a lot) However, there is a lot that just feels wrong in this game.
There is no storymode, only an arena in scenario. Said ScenarioMode looks like a PS2 Game and plays like shit. Targetlocker doesn't work, problem with the camera, clumsy controlls overall pretty boring, pointless story. Unfortunatly its the only quick way to costumize your character, so you kinda have to play it.
Online Mode is completly broken and not playable at the Moment. There are lags from half a second up to 3 seconds, which makes it impossible to juggle correct. Also there are less options than in Tekken5:DR. (and this is T6, so you would think they did some improvments)
There are some other problems, like Player 2 can't use a costumised Character, the practise is lacking some important points, scenariomode can't be played offline together with a friend, the menu scrolls out of the screen etc.

This game could have been perfect, but they messed to much stuff up, most likely because they were focusing on the stupid scenarioMode which nobody wans to play. Still, if they fix the online stuff the game deserves somewhat about 85%. (that's still a great game, but not the best game in the world)
