Hope its not to late, but best 5.10 shoe for hard bouldering (I would think you maybe would mean steep), if you can wait until Spring 2010, would be the new Team 5.10's! They look like the old V10's with an improved heel. Makes my fingers sweat and my toes numb just wanting to shove my feet into them.
