Common myth has it that by sweating more during workouts at the gym or exercise such as jogging one can achieve the purpose of losing more body fat and or extra pounds. Some even turn to wearing rubber suits to really sweat…..
Although sweating does help burn some calories, it's quite a dangerous way to focus on reducin......g weight and it won’t be body fat but mostly water you lose which must be replaced later.
The basic point to remember is this: You only have so much energy available. It takes a lot of energy to lose heat. If you waste your energy in this manner, you won't have the energy you need to perform other tasks. Therefore, away with the sweat suits and off with rubberized garments! Just let your body sweat naturally.
Lastly, to replace lost fluids (sweat) remember to drink little and often during your workouts and if the workout duration is over 1 hour, intake an electrolyte drink.

普遍錯誤地認為, 如能在健身房中做阻力運動或緩步跑一類運動時流多些汗水, 則能夠減去更加多體脂肪及體重; 甚至有些人會穿上橡膠衣服去令自已流更加多的汗......
雖然流汗可幫助燃燒多些卡路里(熱量), 但流汗是十分危險的方法去應用於減少體重, 且減去的將不會是體脂肪, 而大部份你所流失的水份必定會於稍後被補充。
基本要緊記的是: 你只有一定的能量可使用, 流汗將會消耗大量的能量去散熱; 假如你浪費了你的能量去散熱, 你將不會有足夠所需的能量去進行其他任務。因此, 遠離那些焗汗的套裝及脫下那些橡膠的衣服, 就讓你的身體自然地流汗吧!
最後, 為了補充流失的體液(汗水), 請於運動當中時常喝少量的清水; 同時地, 假如你的運動時間超過一小時的話, 請飲用電解質飲料。

This allows a gradual decrease in heart rate and blood pressure as your body attempts to return back to its normal pre-exercise state.
Researchers have also discovered that people who include a cool-down into their exercise routine are more li......kely to adhere to regular exercise because the last thing they remember about their session is the easy, more relaxing pace of their cool-down.
