As the FOX family prepares to gather around the Thanksgiving table, the characters from FRINGE share what they’re most thankful for this season:

Agent Olivia Dunham – “I am thankful that scotch exists.”

Peter Bishop – “I am thankful that Walter stopped counting out loud while he urinates.”

Dr. Walter Bishop – “I am thankful that I still have wonderful LSD flashbacks.”
1) THE PATTERN IS A SERIES OF DISTURBING UNEXPLAINED EVENTS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD WHICH IS BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE FRINGE DIVISION OF THE FBI.

2) THE MAIN FRINGE DIVISION CONSISTS OF PHILLIP BROYLES, OLIVIA DUNHAM, PETER BISHOP, DR. WALTER BISHOP AND ASTRID FARNSWORTH.

3) WALTER SPENT SEVENTEEN YEARS IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION.

4) WALTER'S FORMER LAB PARTNER, WILLIAM BELL, FOUNDED MASSIVE DYNAMIC: A MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR GLOBAL CORPORATION AND THE MILITARY'S LARGEST CONTRACTOR. NINA SHARP IS THE CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF MASSIVE DYNAMIC.

5) THE OBSERVER IS A MYSTERIOUS FIGURE WHO HAS BEEN SEEN AT EVENTS CONNECTED TO THE PATTERN THROUGHOUT HISTORY.

6) THE OBSERVER SAVED WALTER AND PETER'S LIFE YEARS AGO WHEN THEY WERE IN A CAR ACCIDENT.

7) WALTER AND WILLIAM BELL HAVE IN THE PAST OPENED A HOLE INTO AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, WHICH MAY HAVE INADVERTENTLY STARTED THE PATTERN.

8) PETER DIED WHEN HE WAS SEVEN. HE DOESN'T KNOW THIS AND WALTER HOLDS A SECRET AS TO WHOM PETER REALLY IS.

9) AS A CHILD, OLIVIA WAS TESTED ON BY WALTER & BELL WITH A DRUG CALLED CORTEXIPHAN. SINCE THEN SHE HAS HAD SPECIAL ABILITIES THAT ALLOW HER TO SEE INTO THE OTHER SIDE.

10) OLIVIA WAS PULLED INTO THE ALTERNATE UNIVERSE BY WILLIAM BELL, WHO IS APPARENTLY STUCK THERE. HE WARNED THAT A WAR IS COMING BETWEEN THE TWO REALITIES.

FOX has renewed FRINGE, the No. 1 new series among Adults 18-49, with a full second season, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.

“FRINGE proved to be a notable addition to our schedule all season and it really has fans buzzing as it builds to a fantastic season finale,” said Reilly. “J.J. and the whole Bad Robot team have been phenomenal partners, and we look forward to years of making great television with them.”

“FRINGE continues to gain momentum, creatively and with viewers,” said J.J. Abrams, series co-creator and executive producer. “We couldn’t be more thrilled that FRINGE will continue to freak people out for at least another season!”

FRINGE has captivated audiences this season, winning its Tuesday time period weekly among key demographics and ranks as the No. 1 new series in primetime among Adults 18-49.

Questions will be answered when the first season of FRINGE wraps up with two all-new episodes. First, on Tuesday, May 5 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT), Olivia experiences “awake dreams,” Walter divulges key information about the Z.F.T. manifesto and Peter reveals a secret that yields unexpected results in a disturbing case. In the climactic finale airing Tuesday, May 12 (9:04-10:00 PM ET/PT), discoveries are made, loyalties are tested, otherworldly origins are discovered and guest star Leonard Nimoy debuts as a pivotal person of interest.

Created by J.J. Abrams & Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci, FRINGE stars Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, Lance Reddick, Kirk Acevedo, Blair Brown and Jasika Nicole. The series is produced by Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Abrams, Jeff Pinkner, Bryan Burk and J.H. Wyman serve as executive producers, while Kurtzman and Orci are consulting producers. Additionally, Pinkner and Wyman serve as the series’ showrunners.

Tuesday, April 14, on FOX

Emmy Award nominee and sci-fi icon Leonard Nimoy will guest-star on an upcoming episode of FRINGE. Nimoy will appear as pivotal person of interest William Bell as the critically acclaimed series approaches its dramatic and revealing first season finale Tuesday, May 12 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In next week’s all-new “Unleashed” episode, airing Tuesday, April 14 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT), animal rights activists ransack a laboratory and get more than they bargained for when one of the caged “animals” unleashes a ferocious appetite. With Charlie’s life on the line, Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv), Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) and Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble) come face-to-face with the gnarly piece of fringe science.

Nimoy, best known as “Mr. Spock” aboard the USS Enterprise, will reprise his legendary commanding role in the highly anticipated “Star Trek” feature film directed by FRINGE co-creator J.J. Abrams. Aside from myriad on-screen credits, Nimoy has directed numerous films, authored several books and released five music albums.
