One difference between MS and cerebral palsy is that while MS develops over time, cerebral palsy is something I've dealt with all of my life. Technically, cerebral palsy doesn't get worse neurologically, but I have discovered that CP can bring different changes to life over time……
I am catching up on my gifts of the past few days which perhaps weren't so obvious in terms of intentionally giving. Day 3 I am flagging to remember for some reason! Kris Myers： So I joined the challenge for the first time 5 days ago. I have to say, todays gift really touched my heart. I gave my time to a gentleman who is having a rough time with life. He has been laid off for almost a year now, and his wife is having to work alot to make ends meet for the both of them. He recently developed a...... strep infection in his hand from collecting pop cans out of trash cans, to help his family financially. Today, I spent 5minutes of my time just talking with him, and listening. He was so honored. I am so happy to have made his day.
I started this morning by taking extra time to read other 29-Day Givers's blog posts and then add several supportive comments. Although my inclination was to be "preachy" at times, I took great care to squealch that temptation and write only positive, uplifting comments. I hope I did okay……

I gave three gifts today: A Celtic Christmas CD for a co-worker. She loved it and she LOVED the 29gifts gift card that went with it! I gave a writing book that I am not using anymore to a client who is working on writing a memoir……
today I gave the stuff I bought for the giving tree. many students at our school need help with Christmas this year. it's always fun to buy and hope that you are making a smile on that special morning. i received a nice note from one of the people i sent a card too……
I have a partner manager at work and together we take care of a team of 15 people. We have a strong sense of teamwork and communicate well together. Today, we celebrated the end of the year and the holidays with our teams……
